It's On! The book is funded.

We successfully raised money on Kickstarter for production of our book, Empty Kyoto, and we are designing the book now.

This Empty Kyoto newsletter will be a continuation of the Kickstarter status updates that go to all project backers. I'm expecting this newsletter to be less frequent but more detailed than the Kickstarter status updates.

Thanks to all of you, we have reached our fundraising goal! The Empty Kyoto book is cleared for takeoff!

So happy to get amazing support from even distant friends, as well as from those of you whom I’ve only just met.

We still have another two weeks to go on our Kickstarter campaign, maybe we can raise some additional funds for production contingencies, marketing, etc.

Anyway, a lot going on and a lot to be happy and grateful about.
